How Editing Works (Important)

Editing is handled separately.

  • Editing pricing can be discussed and agreed upon before booking a filming day with my editing partner, Ian

  • After filming, I hand off all materials to my trusted editing partner, Ian

  • I connect you with Ian via email

  • You work directly with him on editing scope, pricing, revisions, and delivery

Conditions & Boundaries

  • One filming setup per session (or pre-approved changes, see Add-Ons)

  • Editing is not included (see How Editing Works)

  • Overtime is billed in blocks (see Add-Ons)

  • Deliverables are raw footage only, unless otherwise agreed (see Add-Ons)

  • All editing communication happens directly with Ian, not through me

I remain involved only for high-level creative direction if needed

(available as an add-on).

Add-Ons & Additional Fees

All add-ons must be confirmed before or during the filming session.

  • This Add-on Includes:

    • Basic color correction (consistent exposure & balance)

    • Audio cleanup for clarity

    • Delivered as ready-to-edit files.

  • Weekday Evening Filming

    This is an add-on fee for filming sessions scheduled after 5 PM on weekdays.

  • Weekend Filming

    This is an add-on fee for filming sessions on weekends.

  • This add-on provides an extra camera for additional angles during filming sessions.

  • Multiple Setups

    This add-on allows for multiple distinct filming setups within a single session, requiring a lighting and camera reset for each additional setup.

  • This add-on provides creative guidance and feedback during the editing process, without handling the edit directly.

    Includes:

    • High-level creative notes on structure, pacing, and storytelling

    • Direction on tone, rhythm, and overall vision

    • Alignment between the client and the editor on creative intent

    • Optional review of cuts with written or verbal feedback

  • This add-on includes planned, stabilized camera movement to add energy and visual interest to your footage. Moving shots are captured using a stabilizer or controlled handheld movement and are designed to enhance specific moments such as intros, transitions, walk-and-talks, or cinematic B-roll.

  • This add-on enables live multi-camera video recording for Zoom or similar live platforms. Up to two cameras are connected for a professional live feed, allowing for clean framing, smooth transitions, and a more polished remote experience.

  • This add-on provides visual alignment with another studio or remote location, commonly used for podcasts or multi-location recordings. The setup is adjusted to match framing, camera angles, and basic lighting style to create a more cohesive look across locations.

Overtime Policy

Overtime is billed in 30-minute blocks
Rate: $75 per 30 minutes
Must be approved before extending the session

PREMIUM CLIENT STATUS

This plan is designed for clients who:

  • Film on a regular basis

  • Want consistent, unique, high-quality content

  • Value a reliable production rhythm

  • Want to avoid delays and last-minute scheduling issues

When booking 2+ filming days per month for a minimum of 3 months, you become a Premium Client and receive the following benefits:

    • 2–3 hour testing session at IAVA Studio

    • Used to design and refine your custom visual look

    • Explore lighting styles, camera angles, framing, and mood

    • Generate new creative ideas and directions

    ✔ Included once per month, as needed, to refine or evolve your setup

    • A custom filming setup designed specifically for your brand

    • Saved setup notes for faster future sessions

    • Consistent look across all filming days

    This setup is exclusive to Premium Clients and reused across sessions.

    • Ability to store approved decor elements at the studio

    • Used exclusively for your Custom Setup

    • Subject to space and safety limitations

    • We accommodate Premium Clients before others

    • We are more flexible with dates

    • If another booking request is received for a soft-held date, we will first suggest alternative available dates to the requesting party.

    • If the date is still required, IAVA Studio will then notify the Premium Client and allow time to confirm or release the date before offering it to others.
